Known in Hebrew as the Shield of David or Magen David. His six sided figure symbolizes that God rules over the universe and protects us from all six directions: north, south, east, west, up, and down with the middle - the hexagram - providing the spiritual dimension.
* Thru November 1st, we will be doing a special order of this item. 50% of proceeds from these sales will be donated to Early Starters International, an Israel-based charity serving young children around the world in underprivileged communities and those affected by humanitarian crises.
Since the deadly attacks on October 7th, thousands of displaced Israelis have been evacuated from the towns and kibbutzim around Gaza to hotels throughout Israel. Early Starters International is currently mobilizing their professional teams to open early childhood safe spaces in the hotels where victims of the terrorist attacks have been evacuated. Their teams, trained and specialized in providing support to young children who have experienced trauma will start running safe spaces for young children of the area.
On October 9th ESI opened their first safe space at Hotel Yaarim in Maale Hahamisha, and has opened an additional 2 locations since. Their goal is to open 3 more locations in the coming month.
